About Us
The conglomerate presently known as the Cosmos Group of Companies started in 1980 as a modest marketing operation in commodities. Three decades later, it has grown and branched into such fields as oil & gas, power, telecom, instrumentation, shipping & logistics, media, manufacturing and trading.
The staff – totaling 2,746 – are guided by their youthful zeal and innovative spirit which serve as assets for the conglomerate and, indeed, for the country as a whole.
Over the years, Cosmos has gone global, commencing operations in Singapore, USA, UK and Canada.
Today its presence across the globe has a telling impact on not only the lives of people around the world, but also a significant one on the Bangladesh economy.
