Cosmos Energy Services (Pvt) Ltd (CES) commenced its operations in 1997 and since then has executed a number of prestigious projects in oil, gas and  power sectors in association with foreign companies.

CES takes the pride of being associated with a number of prestigious projects including in the development of first oilfield in Bangladesh at Haripur. Cosmos also associated with the introduction of Coil Tubing Operation at Shahbazpur.

CES has also been associated with the first ever joint cooperation for laboratory services with Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Ltd (BAPEX) and Core Laboratories.

As one of the leading companies involved in oil & gas industry in Bangladesh for the past 25 years, Cosmos has been successfully introducing new companies and new technologies.

CES is staffed with highly qualified Geoscientist, Engineers and Economists who have unrivalled experience of working in the petroleum and power sector.

Areas of operation of CES cover oil and gas exploration, transmission and distribution, offering such services as seismic surveys, seismic data processing, project management, supply, erection and commissioning of surface facilities and metering stations on turnkey basis in collaboration with oil and gas industrial and servicing concerns.

In Power Sector, CES involved in power generation including O&M of Power Plants, substation, transmission and supply of power transformer, CT, PT and other major electrical equipment.

Power Sector
Cosmos Energy Services (Pvt) Ltd. takes pride for successful implementation of the following Power projects over the years:

• Accomplished a 60 MW Power Plant at Mymensingh for Rural Power Company.
• Engineering, Design and Construction of a 230/132 kV 450 MVA Substation at Rampura for PGCB
• Construction of 33/11 kV, 5/6.67 MVA regular type sub-stations for BPDB.
• Extension of One Complete Diameter of 230 kV Line Bay for Haripur 230/132 kV Substation for BPDP
• Performed environmental compliant test of power plant as per DOE requirement
• EPC of 18 Town Power Distribution Project of BPDB.
• Turnkey Contract for Pre-stressed Pole manufacturing plant for BPDB at Chittagong
• Cosmos was also involved in Turnkey Contract for 132/33 kV Baghabari substation with 7 km Transmission line for BPDP
